Had to tell you about a wonderful video online from Lou Lambruschi----it details views of Riverside Avenue before and during the demolition that made way for the new Route 9 through the village of Croton-on-Hudson. Filmed on 8mm in the early 1960s.

Yes. We admit it. We love vintage Tupperware. Aqua, pink, sixties orange, we love it all.  And at a recent event, NEW UNOPENED STILL IN THE BOX 1970'S PIECES WERE PART OF AN ESTATE SALE....but ouch, the prices!

And so we opted for another visit to this site---it's The Holy Grail of Tupperware sites--and we ae always happy to share....Vintage catalogs, signs, ads and more.

POSTED ON: AUGUST 6, 2022 - 1:09PM.....Please read this important message from the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department:  If you see a message like this one, please know it is a scam. The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department isn’t currently selling any shirts or other apparel.

The only current items you may see from us are our recent “Fund Drive” letters in the mail, or you may have seen our members selling our “Big Bucks” raffle tickets.

If someone tries to sell you something on our behalf and it seems “sketchy,” please feel free to ask that person for some ID, or contact us at (914) 271-2693 or info@crotonfd.org.
