On Monday, we reported that the Croton-Harmon Board of Education’s Policy Committee had decided to move its March 26 meeting from the district offices on Gerstein Street to the Croton-Harmon High School community room, after it became clear that the district’s meeting room—which would allow for at most 10 members of the public to attend—was not big enough. A blaze on a high floor at a Northern Westchester apartment complex proved to be a difficult battle for firefighters.
