It's as inevitable as winter snow---every Christmas season your editor is reminded that there was once a time when (AMOST) everyone in Croton got a Croton watch for Christmas...

And that the semi-annual factory sales here in town were always a big hit.

Needless to say, we were very pleased to discover this 1966 ad...check out the Croton Diamond Cynthia--courtesy of our friend CLASSIC FILM.

Yes you can put diamonds on her wrist instead of her finger!

Rep. Sean Maloney defeated in likely Republican sweep of N.Y. races that pushes GOP to brink of House majority

Maloney, the boss of his party’s campaign arm in the House, was expected to concede the race in a press conference Wednesday morning, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to the Daily News.
