It was a privilege to know both the Giglios, and John's political engagement during the village's "waste transfer station wars" was always concise and thoughtful.  He was also sure to be consistently found at every veterans event.

John J. Giglio, age 96, of Croton-on-Hudson, New York passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St, Croton-On-Hudson, New York 10520. U.S. District Judge Daniel Traynor in Bismark issued a decision on Monday saying that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Health and Human Services have impinged upon the beliefs of the Christian Employers Alliance in attempting to require all employers to cover gender transition treatments for their employees.  HHS and EEOC changed their interpretation of a section in Obamacare that prevents discrimination based upon sex following the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Bostock v.
