WILLIAM/LILY???// WHITWORTH ARRESTED FOR PLANNING MASS SHOOTING AT FORMER COLORADO MIDDLE SCHOOL

William Whitworth, 19, arrested for allegedly planning mass shooting at former Colorado middle school

Colorado authorities thwarted a possible middle school shooting after they arrested a former student who was allegedly planning a massacre inside the building.

William Whitworth, who prosecutors say identifies as Lilly, was taken into custody by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office on March 31 after it was discovered the 19-year-old had floor plans to Timberview Middle School and allegedly admitted to wanting to shoot up the school, according to an arrest affidavit obtained and reported on by local outlets.

Whitworth was originally paid a visit by deputies when the suspect’s sister called authorities to alert them she was lashing out and made school shooting references, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported, citing the affidavit.

While the affidavit lists Whitworth as a male, the sister called her “Lily” and called the suspect her sister, the newspaper reported. A spokesperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office told the Gazette that Whitworth was in the process of transitioning to a woman. Eva Augusta Vescelius was a prominent woman who contributed to the development of music therapy practice in the United States. From the turn of the twentieth century, she worked to establish the use of music for health, starting with her first public paper presentation in 1900. Vescelius was the first known person in the United States to collectively experiment on the effects of music and health, establish a music therapy practice, found the first music therapy association, and disseminate the first journal dedicated to music therapy. Little is known about Vescelius’s lifetime of experiences before 1900 that contributed to her mark on the development of music therapy. Furthermore, the dominant historical narrative of the professionalization process of music therapy in the United States, which was formally organized nearly a half a century after Vescelius began advocating, has not fully considered the contributions of Vescelius and other founding women. The purpose of this historical study was to expand knowledge about Vescelius’s life before 1900 and what contributed to her career transition as a professional vocalist. The analysis of primary and secondary sources contributed to the development of the presented biography. Results demonstrate the viability of historical research across the entire continuum of music therapy development and provide an expanded narrative of an important female founder. Ongoing historical research about founding women music therapists is needed in order to counter the existing dominant historical narrative that Vescelius and other women before 1950 minimally contributed to the development of music therapy.

RILEY GAINES, A UPDATE---ATTACKED BY TRANS ACTIVIST STUDENTS AT SGSU

Riley Gaines Says She Was Attacked by Trans Activist Students at SFSU===The college swimmer was reportedly forced to barricade herself in a room for three hours.Riley Gaines is a former college swimmer who competed against Lia Thomas and has criticized the unfairness of including transgender athletes in women's sports. On Thursday, she appeared at San Francisco State University to speak on the subject.

Activists allegedly tried to drown out her event by making so much noise that it would be impossible to hear her; after the event, they chased her, physically assaulted her, and trapped in her a room for three hours.

That's according to numerous accounts of the event from conservative news sources, including Fox News and the New York Post. Louis Barker, Gaines' husband, said his wife was struck multiple times by "a guy in a dress," even while under police protection. Videos circulating on social media do not specifically depict the assault, but they do show activists attempting to get at Gaines.

Another video shows campus administrators negotiating with the student activists, attempting to persuade them to disperse so that Gaines could leave campus. One activist suggests that they each be paid $10 to do so. MORE AT Riley Gaines Says She Was Attacked by Trans Activist Students at SFSU (reason.com)
