FAUCI IN THE NEWS---SEN PAUL--FAUCI IS DISINGENUOUS, HE IS CONFLICTED

Sen. Rand Paul: 'Dr. Fauci Is Disingenuous. He Is Conflicted.'

The Kentucky Republican also expressed disappointment that Congress has not repealed the war on terror authorization of military force.

ROBBY SOAVE | 3.23.2023 3:55 PM

Sen. Rand Paul (R–Ky.) responded to the recent criticism he received from former White House coronavirus czar Anthony Fauci. In a new documentary, Fauci accused Paul of misrepresenting the science on U.S.-funded gain-of-function research, which Fauci says could not have caused the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paul disagreed.

"He's arguing a straw man argument," said Paul in an interview on Rising, the show I host for The Hill. "We have never argued that anything that's been published by the Wuhan lab became COVID-19. What we are arguing is that the lab in Wuhan has over 100 coronaviruses that they have manipulated in a lab and have not published."

Federal health advisers have not been sufficiently forthcoming about the extent of the grants authorized by the National Institute of Health (NIH) for research in Wuhan, China, according to Paul.  Read more at Sen. Rand Paul: 'Dr. Fauci Is Disingenuous. He Is Conflicted.' (reason.com)

BLM IN THE NEWS- BLACK LIVES MATTER EXECUTED A SHOCKING $83 BILLION SHAKEDOWN OF AMERICAN CORPORATIONS

Black Lives Matter Activists Executed A Shocking $83 Billion Shakedown Of American Corporations

BY: CLAREMONT INSTITUTE CENTER FOR THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE
MARCH 24, 2023

Our database tracking contributions and pledges made to the BLM movement shows a historic transfer of wealth to divisive leftwing causes.

The Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots of 2020 were the largest and most successful shakedown in American history. These “mostly peaceful protests” — which burned more than 200 American cities and wreaked more than $2 billion in damages — achieved more than anyone could have predicted: changes in laws, private sector policies, and perhaps most importantly, a historic transfer of wealth to racial and leftwing causes. As a result, American corporations gave or pledged more than $83 billion to either BLM or BLM-related causes.

We created a database tracking contributions and pledges made to the BLM movement and related causes, which we define as organizations and initiatives that advance one or more aspects of BLM’s agenda, and which were made in the wake of the BLM riots of 2020.  READ MORE AT BLM Executed A Historic Shakedown Of American Corporations (thefederalist.com)

MADNESS IN THE LAW SCHOOLS

BY WILLIAM SPRUANCE MARCH 24, 2023 LAW

Rare episodes can symbolize the entire madness of an era. President Bush’s “Mission Accomplished” speech encapsulated the patriotic zeal and overconfidence that defined the early days of the Iraq invasion. In 2020, Gavin Newsom’s dinner at French Laundry epitomized the hypocrisy and comfort of elites during Covid. Today, Stanford’s DEI administrator hijacking of a circuit judge’s speech represents far more than a mere campus showdown.

Earlier this month, Tirien Steinbach led students in heckling and shouting down Fifth Circuit Judge Stuart Kyle Duncan. “Is the juice worth the squeeze?” Steinbach, Stanford’s Assistant DEI Dean, asked repeatedly as she delivered planned remarks from the podium that was prepared for Duncan. Federal marshals later escorted Judge Duncan out the back door after protestors continued their interruptions.  MORE AT
