EXAMINER NEWS--RALLY PLANNED IN VERPLANCK TO OPPOSE TOXIC WASTEWATER IN RIVER
Rally Planned Saturday in Verplanck to Oppose Toxic Wastewater in River--May 2, 2023 Rick Pezzullo
A large rally is planned Saturday at 2 p.m. at Cortlandt Waterfront Park in Verplanck to oppose the planned discharge of radioactive wastewater from the Indian Point nuclear power plants into the Hudson River.
Leading the charge is Cortlandt Supervisor Dr. Richard Becker, who is among those urging Holtec International to reconsider dumping 45,000 gallons of wastewater from the spent fuel pools this summer.
“The goal of the rally is to force a pause– a cease-and-desist, to prevent Holtec from discharging radioactive water for a period of at least one year,” Becker explained. “We are calling upon our elected federal and state officials to demand that the federal NRC and EPA, as well as the State’s DEC listen to the public and do their due diligence. WAS THIS DECEPTIVE TRADE? PAXTON V. MODERNA
Amid ongoing reports concerning the integrity of Big Pharma, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced that he plans to investigate companies’ potential manipulation and misrepresentation of Covid vaccine trial data.
Paxton’s investigation centers around Texas’s Deceptive Trade Practice Act according to his announcement to the New York Post.
Under 17.46(b)(24) of the DPTA, Paxton must answer two questions to determine whether Big Pharma companies acted unlawfully.
1) Did the company fail to disclose known information concerning its Covid vaccine?
2) Was that failure intended to induce the public into getting the product?
Alex Berenson’s recent report on Moderna’s vaccine trials provides a case study that indicates affirmative answers to both questions. READ THE REST AT Was this Deceptive Trade? Paxton v. Moderna ⋆ Brownstone Institute

4/22/2023 C.L.E.A.N. CROTON EVENT, TRAIN STATION PARKING LOT
Thanks to everyone who came out for today’s Earth Day clean-up at the train station parking lot. Shout out to John Yeck for the location suggestion.
Great day for the Earth with 13 trash bags and a tire totaling around 150 pounds cleaned up from the waterline and the lots.
Thanks so much for the amazing turnout - 15 great folks chipped in to really make a difference today - and only 1 fell in the water (fortunately me.)
I’ve tagged most of the folks who showed up in the pictures below, many thanks as well to Kevin Cooney and son! If I’ve missed tagging you here (and you want to be tagged) give me a shout and I’ll add you right away! TWO PHOTOS AT (2) Facebook AND (2) Facebook
The bad news is there is so much left to do here so we’ll likely be scheduling a return trip at lowest low tide when we can pull another load of tires and trash out of an area that should be a pristine haven for wildlife and waterfowl.
More events coming soon, but don’t forget next week is Croton’s Earth Day Celebration at Senasqua Park starting at 10AM!

EYAL SHAHAR---LOCKDOWNS AND VACCINES---LESSONS FROM DENMARK
BY EYAL SHAHAR MAY 1, 2023
How much can Denmark teach us today about the natural course of the pandemic and the effects of human interventions?
A lot. But let’s start at the beginning.
Long ago, when the world was convinced that stubborn, unlocked-down Sweden was performing a deadly Covid experiment, I explored mortality statistics in the Nordic countries. My first analysis (June 2020, published in Hebrew) was titled “Lockdown and Covid mortality: refutations from Sweden.” At that time Covid mortality in Sweden was about five times higher than in Denmark.
In my second analysis of the topic (January 2021, on Twitter), I compared flu, Covid, and all-cause mortality in Denmark and Sweden. Over three consecutive “flu years” (October through September), Sweden fared better than Denmark on flu mortality (pre-pandemic), worse on Covid mortality (when flu was absent), and better or similar to Denmark on overall mortality. My analysis was based on data through September 2020.
We now have a much wider perspective on Sweden (elsewhere and below) and Denmark (below). More at Lockdowns and Vaccines: Lessons from Denmark ⋆ Brownstone Institute
CONGRATULATIONS ALEX PAPISH
