INTRODUCING VINNIE NAUHEUMER'S PROTOGRAPHY WEBSITE
It is with great pleasure that I’m announcing the launch of my new photography website!
Over the years I’ve been asked many times about a venue for selling my photographs. Now it has become a reality. The reason I waited was because I wanted to do it right. You have the opportunity there for mistake proof purchasing of a photo, print, cards, mugs, etc. here you see what it will look like before purchasing.
For me, nothing was worse than going to someone’s house and finding out that the print I made for them wasn’t hanging because it looked awful against the background, color of the wall, or furniture.
This problem has been solved! On my site, you can see what your selection looks like against a myriad number of wall colors. Just select the wall color and the photo appears on that color background. Want to see what it looks like against furniture, you can place it above beds, sofas, etc. Need a different size photo for the space, you can see it right then and there. For those of you who are tech savvy, download the app onto your phone and point your camera to the spot on the wall and see it hanging there real time.
There are amazing photos of the Riverwalk, Hudson and the Dam.

'MAC TRUCK" FOOD DRIVE EXTENDS CHARITABLE RUN
‘Mac Truck’ Food Drive Extends Charitable Run
River Journal — December 6, 2022
Croton-Harmon ninth grader Mac Taylor keeps his pedal to the metal to continue driving food donations that fight hunger.
Mac Taylor, a 9th grader at Croton-Harmon High School, captained a food drive for the October Harry Chapin Run Against Hunger that collected from local schools an estimated 50-plus bags of non-perishable groceries and seven cases of water.
But Mac, who overloaded the flatbed of a Jeep pickup truck from Croton Auto Park, was just getting warmed up. AN IMPORTANT RELATED ISSUE HAS ARISEN WITH HUDSON NATIONAL... CROTON NEEDS YOU AND YOUR SUPPORT!
YOU CAN HELP BY ATTENDING THE MEETING, SIGNING, OR SENDING IN QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS… THANKS FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!!
On Wednesday, December 7, 2022 4:30 p.m., the Croton-on-Hudson Water Control Commission (WCC) will meet to review Hudson National Golf Club’s (HNGC) newly filed Application for a Wetlands Permit. The meeting will take place in the Georgianna Grant Public Meeting Room of Village Hall and will also be streamed. We have been apprised that Comments and/or Questions that will be passed along to the WCC Chair, Stuart Greenbaum, may be submitted in advance to Village Engineer Dan O’Connor, email: doconnor@crotononhudson-ny.gov
A New and Concerning Development – What Exactly Is the Scope of the Entire Project?
Apparently, HNGC now intends to close down its golf course for at least a year (starting just after July, 2023) to totally replace its irrigation system, rebuild and restore the bunkers and rebuild all the greens, including restoration of all turf, which will include work within and around the 120’ buffer zones of its wetlands (the alleged narrowly specific reason for this particular permit). However, it appears that some fairly extensive work might be anticipated.
Input from multiple people has been obtained and, already, multiple stories about the scope of the work are being told, from mere repairing, refurbishing, restoring, and renovating to complete rebuilding! Of course, what has been learned the hard way from history is that there is always the possibility that HNGC could go totally off-script, as has been known to happen in the past, and even unrelated work could transpire with unintended dire consequences.
What is known is that whatever the true nature and scope of the work, it will necessitate HNGC being closed down for a likely period of over a year. Keeping in mind the requested 7 acres and hundreds of trees slated for clearcutting that were being proposed and strongly opposed in connection with the still pending HNGC/Matrix Solar Farm Project which is still in its unprecedented suspended state… there is understandable reason for concern!
Same Personnel + Same Tricks = Same Problems!
Not surprisingly, the NY State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) documents filed on behalf of HNGC for this Wetlands Permit were filed by the same Engineer who filed most of the documents in connection with the HNGC/Matrix Solar Project which contained numerous false and misleading statements, misrepresentations and deceptive presentations and information.

CORTLANDT MOD, DECEMBER UPDATE, RESIDENTS REMAIN UNHAPPY
Residents Remain Unhappy with Cortlandt MOD Projects--EXAMINER NEWS
Residents who live in the neighborhood near New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital on Route 202 in Cortlandt had their chance last week to speak out on different alternatives for two projects in the proposed Medical Oriented District (MOD).
A sparse crowd turned out at Linda Puglisi Town Hall Nov. 29 at a special Town Board meeting with representatives for Evergreen Manor and Gyrodyne in attendance.
Evergreen Manor, headed by local developer Val Santucci, took the brunt of the criticism from residents who maintained it was too dense and did not comply with the spirit of the MOD, a new zoning district that the Town Board is considering establishing.
One concept unveiled for three parcels totaling 28 acres for Evergreen Manor was 114 assisted living units, 90 townhouses (75 two-bedroom, 15 three-bedroom), 100 rental apartments (70 two-bedroom, 30 one-bedroom) and 7,000 square feet of retail.
A second concept eliminated rental apartments, had the same amount of retail space, 120 assisted living units and 130 townhouses.
“From day one this was not a medical district. It was much more,” Evergreen attorney David Steinmetz said. “The Santucci’s have tried time and time again to be responsive to what the town is looking to see across from the hospital.”
Jim Cassidy, a resident of Buttonwood Road, said the townhouses would create a lot of traffic in the area and questioned why the Evergreen project didn’t contain more medical-related components.
“I don’t see much medical in the district that you describe,” Cassidy remarked.
Susan Doria, a resident of Ridge Road, concurred, saying, “I didn’t buy up here so we could be looking at a White Plains.”
Birchwood Lane resident Miriam Weinberger contended town officials were using the assisted living portion of Evergreen’s project “as an excuse” to allow the MOD. MORE AT Residents Remain Unhappy with Cortlandt MOD Projects (theexaminernews.com)
