NASHVILLE SHOOTER IN THE NEWS---PLANNED MURDERS FOR 'A PERIOD OF MONTHS'

Nashville shooting: Shooter planned murders for 'a period of months' by Rachel Schilke, Breaking News Reporter | April 03, 2023 04:27 PM

Investigators have determined that the Nashville school shooter who killed three students and three adult staff members at the Covenant School planned the attack for "a period of months."

Evidence from collective writings by Audrey Hale, the 28-year-old shooter who identified as transgender, showed that Hale documented a plan for "mass murder" for months, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Writings were taken from Hale's home and vehicle, coming from journals Hale kept in the months leading up to the mass school shooting on March 27.  READ MORE AT Nashville shooting: Shooter planned murders for 'a period of months' | Washington Examiner

IN THE NEWS---SCHOOL CLOSURES BROUGHT THE WORST SELF-INFLICED COVID HARM

School closures brought the worst self-inflicted COVID harm By Phil Kerpen and Stephen Moore---April 2, 2023 8:39pm

Of all the COVID policy blunders, the most unforgivable — which will have by far the longest-lasting negative effects — is the closure of schools.

It was almost exactly three years ago that education officials and politicians started to put padlocks on the school doors.

Harvard was the first domino to fall. The vast majority of public schools soon followed suit.

The result — as we predicted at the time — was disaster.

Closures at the end of the 2019-20 school year alone will be associated with 13.8 million years of life lost, one study found, as educational attainment has a well-established relationship with both income and life expectancy. JASON RANTZ---WHEN IT COMES TO THE NASHVILLE SHOOTING, LEFTISTS SUDDENLY DITCH THEIR IDENTITY OBSESSION

When It Comes To The Nashville Shooting, Leftists Suddenly Ditch Their Identity Obsession BY: JASON RANTZ--APRIL 03, 2023

Media and activists are avoiding their typical gender obsessions and pretending trans people are the real victims of The Covenant School shooting.

One day after the horrific mass shooting at a Christian private school in Nashville by a transgender-identifying shooter, Amazon leadership alerted its staff that it “remains in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ employees, customers, and communities.”

Candi Castleberry, Amazon’s vice president of so-called global diversity, equity, and inclusion, posted the internal message, only accessible to staff, explaining “the last several weeks have been challenging, to say the least, as we continue to see disheartening news in the media.” On behalf of the e-retailer, she offered the company’s “support and solidarity during this period of apprehension and uncertainty.”

Police identified the 28-year-old shooter and noted she was transgender-identified. Though law enforcement has thus far refused to release her manifesto, bucking the trend of quickly releasing these kinds of documents after shootings, there has been reason to suspect gender identity played at least some role in the motive after Nashville Police Chief John Drake revealed she held “resentment” for attending The Covenant School.

Amazon’s message was tasteless in the aftermath of a targeted school shooting that killed three 9-year-old children and three staff — all Christians. But Amazon joined a growing chorus of voices pretending transgender people, not Christians, were the actual victims of the mass shooting.  MORE AT After The Nashville Shooting, Leftists Ditch Their Identity Obsession (thefederalist.com)

MIRANDA DEVINE--THE BIDEN WHITE HOUSE IS UNINTERESTED IN HONORING THE NASHVILLE SHOOTING VICTIMS

Every day last week, after three children and three adults were murdered by a transgender shooter at a Christian school in Nashville on Monday, Joe Biden waxed lyrical about the “joy, strength, and absolute courage [of] transgender and nonbinary Americans.”

Hard though it is to believe at a moment when discretion and sensitivity were needed, the president issued statements from the White House claiming “Transgender Americans shape our Nation’s soul.”

On Friday, four days after the massacre at Covenant Christian School, he issued a proclamation declaring March 31 as “Transgender Day of Visibility” and railed against “MAGA extremists [who] are advancing hundreds of hateful and extreme state laws that target transgender kids and their families . . . These attacks are un-American and must end.”

The White House marked the occasion with a 3,464-word “fact sheet” suggesting “conservative politicians” were driving “transgender youth” to consider suicide.

Never fear, though, President Biden is “standing up for transgender kids and their families.” READ MORE AT The Biden White House is uninterested in honoring the Nashville shooting victims (nypost.com)
