NORWAY OFFERS A STEP FORWARD IN ELIMINATING GENDER IDEOLOGY

Norway offers a step forward in eliminating gender ideology

By Debra Soh

March 13, 2023 07:00 AM

Common sense and science are gradually prevailing.

Last week, the Norwegian Healthcare Investigation Board announced it would be revising its current guidelines regarding so-called " gender -affirming care" for minors because it no longer considers them to be evidence-based. The board also acknowledged that the growing number of teenage girls identifying as male post-puberty remains under-studied.  READ MORE AT Norway offers a step forward in eliminating gender ideology (washingtonexaminer.com)

MAN WHO KILLED 8 IN NYC TERRORIST ATTACK GETS 10 LIFE SENTENCES PLUS 260 YEARS

May 17, 2023, 4:25pmUpdated 6m ago By: Associated Press

An Islamic extremist was given 10 life sentences and another 260 years in prison on Wednesday for killing eight people with a truck on a bike path in Manhattan and severely injuring 18 others. “The conduct in this case is among the worst if not the worst I’ve ever seen,” said U.S. District Judge Vernon S. Broderick. He cited the unrepentant nature of Sayfullo Saipov, who, given a chance to speak, said the tears of victims and family members in the courtroom were small compared to the blood and tears that those in the Islamic faith have suffered.

Saipov's sentence came after a jury in March rejected the death penalty for the Uzbekistan citizen and onetime New Jersey resident, leaving him with a mandatory life prison sentence for his Oct. 31, 2017 slaughter of tourists and New Yorkers.

4 MORE COMPANIES GO "FULL BUD LIGHT" DARING CONSUMERS TO BOYCOTT

While major banks downgrade Anheuser-Busch’s stock and Bud Light becomes a corporate punch line, a quartet of CEOs seem all too happy to join them. As the beer company implodes under the weight of a national boycott, their cautionary tale seems lost on four companies, who’ve decided to follow transgender advocacy straight to financial insolvency. Who are the brands foolish enough to ride Bud Light’s tattered coattails?

They are Target, Levi Strauss, Starbucks and Sports Illustrated. Read more at https://washingtonstand.com/commentary/4-more-companies-go-full-bud-light-daring-consumers-to-boycott

UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING SORORITY SISTERS SAY THEY "LIVE IN FEAR" OF TRANS MEMBER

University of Wyoming sorority sisters say they ‘live in fear’ of trans member
By Yaron Steinbuch--May 16, 2023 8:51am

A group of sorority sisters who are suing the University of Wyoming for accepting a transgender woman into their group have broken cover to describe how they “live in constant fear in our home” — after the hulking student has become physically aroused around them.

The seven women from the Kappa Kappa Gamma house have filed a lawsuit against the university and Artemis Langford, 21, a 6-foot-2, 260-pound trans student who joined their chapter in September 2022.

Langford — referred to under the male pseudonym Terry Smith in the suit — has been living outside the sorority house and was expected to move in the coming year, according to Cowboy State Daily.

However, the student, who is referred to as “he” and “him” in the suit, still often stays for meals and attends events with the women, their attorney told Megyn Kelly on her podcast Monday. MORE AT University of Wyoming sorority sisters speak out against trans member (nypost.com)

Covenant School where Audrey Hale fatally shot 6 people tries to block release of certain records tied to massacre

The private Christian school where Audrey Hale slaughtered six people took legal action this week to stop the release of some records tied to the disturbing shooting, according to a legal filing.

The Covenant School and associated Covenant Presbyterian Church called on the court to intervene and “protect its interest relating” to Hale’s manifesto after lawsuits were filed seeking the release, according to a Monday court filing.

The two lawsuits against the city of Nashville seek the release of the manifesto and other information that was discovered in the aftermath of the shooting that killed three 9-year-old students and three school staffers, including the academy’s headmistress on March 27. MORE AT

NATIONAL POLICE WEEK---SQUAD DEMS VOTE AGAINST HONORING POLICE OFFICERS KILLED IN LINE OF DUTY

Two members of progressive group "the Squad" were the only Democrats to vote against a resolution that memorialized police officers killed in the line of duty and expressed condolences to their loved ones.

During a vote Monday recognizing National Police Week, Reps. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Cori Bush, D-Mo., uttered the only nays heard from the House floor as the chamber voted on the pro-law enforcement resolution.

The resolution, which passed with unanimous support from Republicans and nearly all Democrats, amended H.Res. 363 title to read: "Resolution memorializing law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty."

Its passing honored "the 556 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, including 224 officers killed in 2022, as well as 332 officers killed in previous years whose stories were recovered during 2022," while also ensuring police are equipped with the resources and training necessary to keeping communities safe.
