IT'S DEMOCRACY IN THE DARK WITHOUT NASHVILLE SHOOTER MANIFESTO'S RELEASE

But it’s also a fair description of what’s happening in Tennessee, as the state Legislature is being called to a special session even as local and federal officials withhold information that might be critical to its decision-making.

Gov. Bill Lee ordered the special session to begin Aug. 21 in response to a March 27 mass shooting in which three adults and three children at the Covenant School, a Christian school in Nashville’s Green Hills neighborhood, were killed.

The Nashville Tennessean article refers only to “a shooter.”

The shooter was a female-to-male transgender shooter named Audrey Hale, aged 28, who left a manifesto before being killed by police.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the Croton Yacht Club membership, and all others, who participated in the preparation and execution of our Hudson River Day event held on Saturday, September 9 th . I would also like to thank the community for supporting this important event. In spite of the heat and humidity and a late day thunderstorm which cut the schedule short, the event was another resounding success.

The model of providing a full educational and interactive experience centering around the history and ecology of the river coupled with our partnership with the Hudson River Fishermen’s Association (HRFA) has evolved into the most unique and successful event of its kind on the river. Thanks to the HRFA, the youth fishing contest was again a home run. Over sixty children registered and participated in the event throughout the day with a variety of fish caught. First place was awarded to John Bracciante who caught a 16” channel catfish, second place went to Liam Burns and third place to Connor Stokes. In addition to the contest winning prizes donated by the Croton Yacht Club, fishing rod and reel combinations were also awarded throughout the day to other participants as door prizes. The happiness and excitement of those receiving awards were dwarfed by those children who caught the first fish of their lifetime.

The food was outstanding, the snow cones refreshing and the chowder pot was drained to the last drop.

Special thanks to representatives from the, Riverkeeper, Clearwater, the Croton Historical Society, Village of Croton Police Department, Ferry Sloops, the Hudson River Boat and Yacht Club organization, the Hudson Valley Stream Conservancy, the Croton 125 committee, the Croton Point Nature Center, Brigid Faranda, Mario Giacalone, the Croton River Artisans and again the Hudson River Fishermen’s Association for their participation and for their engaging and educational exhibits.

Chris Letts, renowned naturalist, once again captivated the audience at the “touching table” where the children could see, touch and smell some of the river’s two hundred thirty-seven different fish species. Our viewing tanks provided a unique look into the underwater world of the river.

Thank you to Croton Police Department Officers who exhibited the Village Police Boat and provided boat rides and also to members of “Ferry Sloops” for providing a free sailing experience enjoyed by all.

As Croton Yacht Club members, we take pride in providing this experience to the community. As parents and grandparents, we take comfort in knowing our children and grandchildren are being afforded an opportunity to make a life changing connection to the river we all love.

BREAKING ---HUNTER BIDEN HIT WITH NEW INDICTMENT ON FED GUN CHARGES

First son Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday by special counsel David Weiss on three counts of illegally possessing a firearm while addicted to drugs.  The charges, which carry up to 10 years in prison, are the first to be filed by Weiss against the 53-year-old in his special counsel role and the first since a plea deal with Hunter’s attorneys collapsed in public fashion during a July court hearing. Canada’s mass grave hoax is another irreversible lie of the cultural Left

In May 2021, the Tk’emlups te Secwépemc people , an indigenous tribe in southern British Columbia, announced the discovery of a mass grave containing the remains of 215 indigenous children at former Catholic residential schools. Citing “anomalies” detected by ground-penetrating radar and the community’s assurance that the atrocity had been confirmed, the announcement garnered global media coverage and sparked a nationwide cultural backlash against the Catholic Church.

In the ensuing months, dozens of Canadian churches were torched (Prime Minister Trudeau described this as “understandable”). Anti-Catholic hate crimes rose by 260%. Priests and nuns were spat at in the streets. Worldwide sentiment toward Catholics plummeted to evermore profound depths. Suddenly, former Catholic residential school students in Canada were being referred to as “survivors” — as though these schools were the moral equivalent of Nazi concentration camps.

Those who questioned the existence of these mass graves or critiqued the ensuing moral panic were labeled as “residential school denialists.” Divergence from the official narrative was grounds for termination , cancelation , and dismissal ...... For his part, Trudeau did everything in his power to stoke the controversy for his own benefit. He demanded an apology from the Vatican with a quivering voice on behalf of the indigenous children ( which he incidentally received from Pope Francis ); he ordered flags to be flown at half-mast for six months; he even visited one of the supposed mass graves for a ghoulish photo-op with a teddy bear in hand .......

The blog's picked up a few trolls over the years.  Fortunately, you the readers, are spared their passionate drivel.  When they insisted that Canadian Catholics be held accountable for the alleged genocide of Native American children---without a shred of evidence----we suspected something was amiss and simply hit the delete key.  And as it turns out....

When our national media don't like where a narrative is going -- as in anyone assuming Joe Biden is an eager participant in Hunter Biden's influence-peddling -- they repeat a mantra about "no evidence." Biden's critics have "no evidence" of a Joe-Hunter corruption connection.

But when they like a narrative -- like arrogant white imperialist Catholics in Canada were so hostile to "Indigenous peoples" that they committed a genocide -- somehow, no evidence is required. The wilder, the better. In 2021, a Native Canadian tribe claimed that "ground-penetrating radar" found 215 bodies near a residential school in Kamloops, British Columbia. Within a week, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ordered flags across Canada to be flown at half-staff for all the allegedly murdered children.

American media outlets like NPR forwarded wild allegations from the Canadian Broadcasting Company, staining the reputations of two "public broadcasters." Based on unsubstantiated allegations of a mass grave in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Chief Jason Louie of the Lower Kootenay Band proclaimed, "Let's call this for what it is. It's a mass murder of Indigenous people."

Then Chief Louie really spread the smear brush. "The Nazis were held accountable for their war crimes. I see no difference in locating the priests and nuns and the brothers who are responsible for this mass murder to be held accountable for their part in this attempt of genocide of an Indigenous people.".............
