VETERANS APPRECIATION DAY HEN HUD GAMES: 4/27, UNITED FOR THE TROOPS

On April 27th, at Hendrick Hudson High School, Hen Hud Girls Lacrosse Program will be hosting Military Appreciation Day (along with the Boys Lacrosse and Girls Flag Football Teams who have games that day). United For The Troops will be in attendance that day, and we will be trying to “Cram the Cage” with items from their Wish List to help them in their mission, as they move towards their 33,000th care package shipped our deployed servicemen and service women since 2007. Please come out and support our sports teams that day, and bring some items from their Wish List to help us Cram the Cage for our troops and UFT!!!

UnitedForTheTroops.org was created by friends & family of our troops serving the U.S. overseas. Our sole purpose is to make life while deployed a little better for our brave men & women serving in the US military by collecting food, toiletries and goods that the military does not provide them. Some of the items include cookies, snacks, t-shirts and other food items. Through speaking with the troops, even though the military provides them with the essentials for day to day life, may of them miss the extra amenities that they receive while at home. Our goal is to show them that we are proud of them and appreciate all of their efforts while they're deployed.

Couples celebrating their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary anytime during 2024 are invited to attend the Golden Wedding Jubilee Mass with Cardinal Dolan at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday, June 2, at 2:30 PM.
