The Croton 125th Anniversary Committee will be hosting a kickoff event to celebrate the 125th birthday of Croton-On-Hudson on Friday, February 10th from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Croton-Harmon High School. BREAKING; FRANK JAMES PLEADS GUILTY

The man who opened fire on a packed subway train last year, sparking terror underground and leaving 10 commuters injured, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the gruesome attack.

Frank James filed documents last month indicating his intention to cop to a superseding indictment hitting him with 10 counts of committing a terrorist attack or other violence against a mass transportation system over the April 12 mass shooting. IN THE NEWS - ABOUT THAT CLEVELAND STUDY....

By Dr. Sanchari Sinha Dutta, Ph.D.Jun 8 2021---Scientists from the Cleveland Clinic, USA, have recently evaluated the effectiveness of coronavirus disease 2019 COVID-19) vaccination among individuals with or without a history of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection.  The study findings reveal that individuals with previous SARS-CoV-2 infection do not get additional benefits from vaccination, indicating that COVID-19 vaccines should be prioritized to individuals without prior infection. Federal Trial on Youth Transgender Care in Arkansas Begins

This week, the nation’s first trial over a state ban on “gender-affirming” health care for minors began in federal court in Arkansas.  Two doctors testified Monday in Little Rock’s U.S. District Court over the negative impacts of restricting this type of health care for minors, which includes hormone therapy treatments, puberty blockers and sex reassignment surgeries. A 2021 state law banned this type of care for this age demographic......This month, Reuters reported how several European countries, including Finland and Sweden, that were “early to embrace gender care for children” have now pulled back the reins on such care. Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears asked Gov. Glenn Youngkin and Attorney General Jason Miyares to investigate one of the state's top high schools for not informing students that they had qualified for a national award until after important deadlines, a failure critics are attributing to the school leaders' ideology.   "This is reprehensible," the lieutenant governor wrote on Twitter Friday. She was known for such Czech films as Zizkovská romance/Suburban Romance (1958), Bláznova kronika/The Jester's Tale (1964) and Na kolejích ceká vrah (1970).
