IN THE NEWS - HARRIS SAYS HURRICANE AID WILL BE BASED ON "EQUITY"

Vice President Harris came in for a torrent of criticism after telling an audience that “communities of color” would be first in line for relief in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

“We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity,” she said during a discussion with Priyanka Chopra at the Democratic National Committee’s Women’s Leadership Forum on Friday.

“If we want people to be in an equal place sometimes we need to take into account those disparities and do that work,” she added.

Harris’ remarks immediately came in for backlash, including from Christina Pushaw, rapid response director for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. MORE AT VP Harris slammed for saying Hurricane Ian aid will be 'based on equity' (nypost.com)

THE LATEST FROM ALEX BERENSEN, UNREPORTED TRUTHS---SIX RECENT "COVID" DEATHS PER THE MILWAUKEE CORONER'S OFFICE

Working on a bigger story but wanted to share this.

You may have wondered how the United States is still clocking 3000 Covid deaths a week when even Joe Biden - who can barely manage a staircase unaided - easily beat Omicron.

The Milwaukee coroner’s office has the answer. It publishes anonymized death reports, including cases where Covid is listed on the death certificate. Here are four of the seven from the last two weeks. Average age 90.

The youngster in the group was 80 and had metastatic prostate cancer.

And diabetes.

And Parkinson’s disease.

And COPD. MORE AT https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/six-recent-covid-deaths-per-the-milwaukee/comments
