SERVICE INFO & OBTITUARY FOR VIRGINIA "TEE" L. MARTIN

Virginia “Tee” L. Martin, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, passed away on June 19, 2022. She was 55 years old. Virginia was born on January 21, 1967 in Sleepy Hollow, New York to the late William Cloke and Norma Tarantelli, as well as to her loving stepfather Russell Curtin. In her time here, Virginia made a monumental impact on the lives of everyone she met. She always was the first to offer a helping hand, she will forever be remembered for her kind and generous heart. Virginia is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, John A. Martin, as well as her three children; John Martin Jr., Sean Martin, and Jamie Deandrade. She also leaves behind two sisters, Jacqueline Garrett and Noreen Schulze as well as several nieces and nephews and two grandchildren, Aiden and Dylan. Her family made up the entirety of her world. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, June 25th 2022 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Holy Name of Mary Church located at 110 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Followed by a Mass at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York.

SERVICE INFO & OBITUARY FOR RAYMOND ANTHONY D'ALVIA

Raymond Anthony D’Alvia, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, passed away on June 19, 2022. He was 84. Raymond was born on January 3, 1937 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Carl and Mary Josephine (Rucci) D’Alvia. He was a lawyer for many years. Raymond was active in local politics and served as Supervisor to the Town of Cortlandt. He enjoyed all sports, and his special passion was track and field. He was a gifted storyteller and he loved to entertain and joke with everyone he met.   He is survived by his children Carl D’Alvia, Jennafer D’Alvia, Thea D’Alvia, Rachel Whetten and Lauren D’Alvia, and by his sister Patricia Foley and by two grandchildren Maddalena D’Alvia and Elena Whetten.  He was predeceased by his brother Robert D’Alvia. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 22 from 5-9 pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Thursday, June 23 at Holy Name of Mary Church at 10am, 110 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
