NEWSWEEK---CIA WHISTLEBLOWER/S BOMBSHELL CLAIM ABOUT COVID CONSPIRACY

A Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) whistleblower made bombshell claims against the U.S. intelligence agency on Tuesday relating to the origins of COVID-19.

The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic and Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence announced that members heard testimony from a CIA whistleblower who alleged that the CIA "offered six analysts significant monetary incentives to change their position on COVID-19's origin."

"The whistleblower, who presents as a highly credible senior-level CIA officer, alleges that of the seven members assigned to the CIA team tasked with analyzing COVID-19 origins, six officers concluded that the virus likely originated from a lab in Wuhan, China," the House's Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic said in a press release. "The CIA, then however, allegedly offered financial incentives to six of the experts involved in the investigation to change their conclusion in favor of a zoonotic origin." LOCAL MEDIA SLAM LIBRARY "BOOK BANS" WHILE OMITTING THE EXPLICIT CONTENT BEING PUSHED ON MINORS

Local Media Slam Library ‘Book Bans’ While Omitting The Explicit Content Being Pushed On Minors BY: AMY DRAKE
SEPTEMBER 12, 2023

The newspapers won’t tell the full story. The librarians disguise porn as free speech and twist age-appropriate categories into book banning.

Warning: This piece includes sexually explicit content.

I wasn’t surprised when I got a call from the local newspaper telling me it wouldn’t run my editorial featuring graphic sex excerpts from a controversial teen book. The parts I included were definitely disgusting and over-the-top — no question. The South Bend Tribune’s editorial page editor, Alesia I. Redding, told me over the phone, “We’re not going to print these things. … We don’t print those things in a family newspaper.”

Exactly. That’s why moms and dads don’t want “those things” in the family sections of our public library either.  MORE AT You Can't Slam 'Book Bans' And Turn A Blind Eye To The Content (thefederalist.com)

OH THOSE LIBRARIES AGAIN-----SLATE WRITER REALIZES BANNED BOOKS ARE ACTUALLY PRETTY GRAPHIC

Slate writer realizes banned books are actually pretty graphic
By  Madeline Fry Schultz, Contributors Editor---September 12, 2023 08:38 AM

According to Democrats, children’s fundamental rights to education and autonomy are being attacked as books are banned across the United States. According to Republicans, a slew of sexualized graphic novels and “educational” titles are being pushed on ever younger readers. So what’s really going on?

A Slate writer set out to find the answer, at least as it pertains to the oft-banned title It's Perfectly Normal: Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex, Gender, and Sexual Health.

Aymann Ismail, a father of two, got his hands on a copy of the book, expecting that “there would be nothing in there that would offend my sensibilities.” Instead, he was shocked by what he saw. He writes:

“I had an involuntary reaction to seeing the nude cartoons, like I needed to make sure I was alone and hide the book. I skimmed ahead to look at the rest of the book briskly. On virtually every page I stopped to examine, I was confronted with detailed drawings of genitals. It felt like every page had a cartoon of a naked body.”

His article, which includes a disclaimer at the top over “explicit images” from the book, goes on to detail a disturbing level of nudity in a book meant for 10-year-olds. He continues:

“In the chapter ‘Making Love,’ there are three graphic images that show adult bodies having sex. There is no visible penetration, but it’s still eye-popping. I was sure I wouldn’t hand this book to my kids when they are 10. And I began to wonder if in my own allergy to the book-burning fervor, I had been a little too dismissive of the parents at the root of this fight.”

You don’t say!

Updated Tue, Sep 12, 2023 at 9:45 am ET-----------Dickey, an accomplished cave explorer, was 1,040 meters (3,412 feet) from the entrance of the Morca Cave on an expedition, when he became stricken with severe stomach bleeding on Sept. 2. There were several other people with him, including three other Americans, on the mission to map the 1,276-meter (4,186-foot) deep cave system for the Anatolian Speleology Group Association.

His conditions rapidly worsened to life-threatening gastrointestinal intestinal bleeding and vomiting, according to the New Jersey Initial Response Team, a volunteer search and rescue organization of which Dickey is the chief.

While someone remained with the 40-year-old speleologist more than 1,000 meters (3,000 feet) underground, another team member began the arduous and technical climb back out of the cave to sound the alarm. Stone’s Throw: COVID-19 Billing Discrepancies Draw CareMount/Optum Under AG’s Microscope

Investigative / Enterprise, Opinion

This is the seventh installment in a series about CareMount/Optum and broader local healthcare issues.
By Adam Stone

Just a couple weeks ago, as many of you know, I published a piece about the billing practices of CareMount/Optum, and how the company was being scrutinized by the New York State Attorney General’s office, according to documents.

The piece highlighted cases of patients experiencing deeply problematic billing issues and aggressive attempts by the medical group to collect on disputed and questionable debt claims.

In the column, I noted how the AG’s degree of apparent interest seemed to suggest the possibility of a bigger investigation, yet I stressed how it’s too early to conclude anything more serious is underway.

But after receiving 43 additional pages of documents from the AG’s office last week, with more on their way next month, I have to say it’s at least appearing increasingly likely that the state’s top prosecutor is poking around here with potentially serious intentions.  MORE AT Stone’s Throw: COVID-19 Billing Discrepancies Draw CareMount/Optum Under AG’s Microscope | The Examiner News

Fulgenzi: ‘We’ll Be Fighting’ JCCA Over Migrants; Threatens Lawsuit
September 12, 2023Martin Wilbur

Mount Pleasant Supervisor Carl Fulgenzi warned that the town will fight against any migrants that might be sent to the JCCA’s Cottage School.

Mount Pleasant officials renewed their battle with the Pleasantville Cottage School after Supervisor Carl Fulgenzi said the town issued a stop work order because of unauthorized refurbishment of its cottages in preparation to house migrants.

Fulgenzi said last week that shortly before the Labor Day weekend town Fire Inspector John LaVecchia brought him onto the JCCA’s Broadway campus to show him the ongoing plumbing and electrical work on an undetermined number of cottages. He said he also saw the installation of brand-new granite kitchen countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

Fulgenzi said he is certain that the JCCA is “remodeling these for migrant families.” He warned that if any migrants should arrive at the site, the town would “definitely” launch litigation.

“This Town Board is not going to just lie down and let it happen,” Fulgenzi said. “We’ll be fighting this all the way.”

Multiple calls placed to Mount Pleasant Building Inspector Sal Pennelle as well as a message left for LaVecchia for more specific information related to the town’s allegations were not returned.

The latest spat comes after a summer of escalating tension between the town and the JCCA. On May 26, Fulgenzi issued a state of emergency, one of three towns in the state to take that action, shortly after he said he was tipped off by someone that the Cottage School was prepared to accept migrants. He said that having migrants at the facility would tax the town’s resources, including the police department. In July, Fulgenzi called for the facility’s closure because there were well over 400 calls to Mount Pleasant police from the Cottage School during the first six months of this year, including for repeated violent incidents. Then last month, town officials publicized the JCCA’s jobs listings where the agency was looking to fill five positions to work with unaccompanied minor children.

The Examiner twice reached out to the JCCA for comment last week regarding the latest round of allegations from the town, but was rebuffed both times. MORE AT Fulgenzi: ‘We’ll Be Fighting’ JCCA Over Migrants; Threatens Lawsuit | The Examiner News
