By CAROLINE DOWNEY--August 8, 2022 3:05 PM

Over a month after pro-abortion extremists vandalized and firebombed pro-life pregnancy centers following the leak of the Supreme Court's draft opinion in Dobbs, no arrests have been made as a result of the FBI's investigations.

Of the 45 documented incidents of violence against pregnancy clinics since June, no suspects have been taken into custody or even identified by name.  MORE AT FBI Investigations into Wave of Pro-Life Pregnancy Center Vandalism Stall | National Review

EXCERPTED---DAVID McCULLOUGH, A GRACIOUS MAN - David was always polite, genial, with never a trace of entitlement or hauteur — a delight to know. He epitomized the serious popular historian. He told engaging stories, often hung on a biography or biographies, but bolstered with research and attention to detail. His interests were wide: TR, Truman, American painters in Paris, the grim year 1776, the founding of Marietta, Ohio. His grand slam was his bio of John Adams. Spotted lanternfly: New York State Department of Agriculture urges residents to kill invasive bug

WABC - 35m ago--EXCERPTED: CLICK ON THE LINK FOR THE NYSIPM Interactive Spotted Lanternfly Map

Anyone who sees a spotted lanternfly is asked to fill out a survey so the Department of Agriculture can continue to collect data on areas most affected.

It comes after officials in New Jersey made a similar announcement about the destructive bug.

The New Jersey Department of Agriculture has started a campaign called "Join the battle, Beat the Bug, Stomp it Out, Stop the Spotted Lanternfly."

The spotted lanternfly does not harm humans or animals, but it can reduce the quality of life for people living in heavily infested areas.

The pests -- which are native to Asia and known for their pale, pinkish gray wings, black dots and scarlet undercoat -- were first documented in Pennsylvania in 2014. MORE FROM WABC HERE.

Welcome to The New Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short Everything Croton.

Back in 2019, we featured a brief article on a lawsuit brought against Clifford Harmon and his MIRROR FILM COMPANY---by actor Nat Goodwin.  Yes, Harmon and like- minded men tried their hand at the then burgeoning motion picture making business. (There will be a future post on THE MIRROR FILM COMPANY--stay tuned---but for now.....Mirror Films Incorporated was a short-lived motion picture company producing films from late 1915 to early 1917. You can read more here.).

In any case, Harmon and Mirror would lose the lawsuit brought by Goodwin in 1918.  You can read the original post here.

This morning we came across this additional article about Nat Goodwin---which also mentions the court proceedings in greater detail. Click on the images below.

And on that fab blog we recently discovered called TRAVALANCHE---an interesting post on Goodwin himself at
