Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department

Today we laid to rest Safety Officer and 80 year member John J. Giglio. An active and admired member of Washington Engine Company No. 2, he spent his life giving back to his community as a part of not only our organization, but several other groups and committees to keep our beloved village safe, enjoyable and friendly.

Mr. Giglio’s legacy will live on, and we are extremely grateful to his beloved family for letting us have him around us for so many years.

Our appreciation, also, to the Croton Police Department, Montrose Fire Department, Millwood FD and Yorktown Heights FD for their assistance and support today giving our brother a proper send-off.

Thank you for your eight decades of service, Johnny Gig #185.
