Fauci and Biden Are Rewriting the History of COVID-19 Restrictions
Here are three people whose record on COVID-19 shouldn't be forgotten.

The federal government says the COVID-19 emergency is finally over, and it's ending the restriction that are still in place.

White House COVID advisor Ashish Jha recently said that while they're no longer needed, these policies "had a tremendous beneficial impact."

He's wrong. Actually, many COVID restrictions had a dubious public health benefit, grew the government's power arbitrarily, and should never have existed in the first place. But public officials, including former Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci and President Joe Biden, are eager to rewrite history. Vaccine passports, shutting down schools, requiring cloth masks—none of these policies worked as intended, and many of the government officials who forced them on us are now trying to deny that they deserve any blame.

Let's not let them off the hook. Here are three people whose record on COVID-19 shouldn't be forgotten.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Fauci tried to pretend that lockdowns—and school closures in particular—were not his fault. "Show me a school that I shut down and show me a factory that I shut down," he said defiantly. "Never. I never did."

Yes, the power to close factories, businesses, churches, restaurants, schools, and even public beaches and parks rested with governors, mayors, school boards, and public health departments. But let's be clear—these officials turned to Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for guidance, and the message they got was that you can't be too careful. Fauci used his position as the top government health advisor to advocate for prolonged closures. And he was saying people will die if you don't shut everything down.

NEELY WAS ON NYC'S 'TOP 50 LIST" OF HOMELESS PEOPLE WITH URGENT NEED FOR HELP BEFORE SUBWAY DEATH

Jordan Neely was on NYC’s ‘Top 50 list’ of homeless people with urgent need for help before subway death--Jordan Neely, the homeless man choked to death on the subway last week, was reportedly listed on a city roster of people on the streets who desperately needed help.

--Beginning in 2018, Old Rochester Regional School District has spent $30,620.25 to partner with Panorama Education through January 2024 to survey students and teachers in “social-emotional learning” (SEL) and race topics, according to a public records request by Parents Defending Education (PDE), a parental rights in education group.

--Panorama Education has been widely criticized for its connection to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland whose son-in-law founded the emotional survey group.

--“Parents are right to be alarmed when big tech, unions, DEI [Diversity, Equity and Inclusion] consultants, and partisan education activists collude to push SEL surveys in schools to probe sensitive, private information of students and push their political agenda in classrooms across the country,” Caroline Moore, vice president of PDE, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. There’s a nearly endless number of possibilities to make Walensky’s list of shame. But here’s a few favorites.

Vaccinated People Don’t Get Sick

Soon after taking over her post, she told the public that vaccinated people were not only protected from serious illness and death, but all infection.

“Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick, and that it’s not just in the clinical trials, but it’s also in real-world data,” she claimed.

There may never be a more inaccurate statement issued by a public official on any issue. It was utterly incomprehensible at the time, totally unsupported and designed to provoke mandates.

Soon afterwards, real-world data confirmed she was completely wrong about vaccine efficacy.

Masks Are Effective

NY greenlights over-the-counter birth control, expands abortion access

Gov. Kathy Hochul on Tuesday signed legislation that will allow pharmacists to dispense over-the-counter contraception and ensure access to medication abortion at public colleges and universities in New York.

The two bills are the latest in a series of measures approved in New York to protect abortion access in the state after the Supreme Court last year overturned the landmark Roe v.
