Schools To Host Black Lives Matter At School Week Which Teaches Kids About ‘Trans Affirmation,’ ‘Restorative Justice’ - Story by Reagan Reese • 11h ago

Several of the nation’s schools are preparing to celebrate “Black Lives Matter at School” week which features curriculums on “restorative justice” and “globalism.”

With lesson plans, reading, documentaries and activities, students learn about activism and “structural racism.”

“Any education leader interested in building awareness on the history and struggles of the African American community should seek meaningful policy solutions rather than virtue-signaling,” Wenyuan Wu, executive director of Californians for Equal Rights Foundation, a group that focused on combating racial discrimination, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. ABOUT WHAT WAPO ARTICLE---WHY NO ONE TRUSTS THE SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT---OR THE MEDIA

Why no one trusts the scientific establishment — or the media

By Peter Laffin----February 04, 2023 06:00 AM--A recent feature by Joel Achenbach of the Washington Post on the dangers of increased public distrust toward the scientific establishment, both to the public and to the scientists themselves, is itself a pitch-perfect example of why such skepticism exists in the first place. Written from the highest perch of one rotten establishment in order to give cover to another, the piece demonstrates a lack of self-awareness and tone-deafness that only the legacy media could achiever. IN THE NEWS - SMITHSONIAN PROVIDES 'IMMEDIATE TRAINING AFTER KICKING OUT CATHOLIC SCHOOL GROUP

SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION---Smithsonian provides 'immediate training' after kicking out Catholic school group==The Smithsonian Institution required staffers at the National Air and Space Museum to undergo training after a group of Catholic school students were told to remove their anti-abortion hats in order to enter the museum last month.

The incident reportedly happened on Jan. 20, after the annual March for Life, an anti-abortion protest that draws hundreds of thousands of demonstrators every year. Museum staff told the group of students from Greenville, South Carolina, that they could not stay in the museum if they did not remove their matching hats that said "Rosary PRO-LIFE," according to the American Center for Law and Justice, which is representing the mother of one of the students. Cop Orders Reporter To Leave a Park for Daring To Interview a Child
Normal human interaction should not automatically be considered creepy or criminal.

LENORE SKENAZY | 2.3.2023 4:24 PM

A cop who ordered a man to leave a suburban New York amusement park for talking to a child has been reprimanded by his department and ordered to attend First Amendment training.

Kicking the man—a reporter—out of the park was a "violation of department policy," Jeffrey Weiss, commanding officer of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety's Special Investigations Unit, wrote in a department review.

According to the Rockland/Westchester Journal News, David McKay Wilson—a tax columnist at the Westchester, New York, newspaper—was visiting Rye Playland for a story on the park's changing tax status. He bought a ticket to the rides and was standing in line for the locally famous dragon coaster when he struck up a conversation with the kids waiting alongside him.

One of the kids told her father about how she had just been talking with a grownup. Outraged that a man spoke to his daughter without his permission, the dad reported Wilson to a guard. That guard called the police. MORE AT Cop Orders News Reporter To Leave Park for Trying To Interview a Child (reason.com)

IN THE NEWS; HOUSE JUDICIARY SUBPOENAS WRAY AND GARLAND FOR TARGETING PARENTS

House Judiciary subpoenas Christopher Wray and Merrick Garland for targeting parents by Ryan King, Breaking News Reporter---The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed the Biden administration, demanding FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona produce documents about the alleged targeting of parents at school board meetings.

Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is demanding Garland, Wray, and Cardona turn over communications pertaining to the Justice Department's alleged "misuse of federal criminal and counterterrorism resources" by 9 a.m. on March 1, according to the subpoenas dated Thursday and reviewed by the Washington Examiner.
"Since October 2021, Judiciary Committee Republicans have sent over one hundred letters to Biden administration officials requesting answers about how the administration used federal counterterrorism resources against American parents," the committee said in a press release.

At issue is an alleged Oct. 4, 2021, memo sent by Garland tasking the FBI to collaborate with U.S. attorneys and other local law enforcement to investigate potential threats from parents at school board meetings. At the time, large groups of parents across the country were protesting the instruction of so-called critical race theory and COVID-19 suppression measures.

"In recent months, there has been a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff who participate in the vital work of running our nation's public schools. While spirited debate about policy matters is protected under our Constitution, that protection does not extend to threats of violence," the memo read.

Garland's memo came on the heels of a National School Boards Association letter to him that outlined a slew of disruptive behavior that was not necessarily violent and called for the government to deploy aggressive measures such as the Patriot Act to curtail the disturbances. Later, the NSBA withdrew the letter and apologized---READ MORE AT House Judiciary subpoenas Christopher Wray and Merrick Garland for targeting parents | Washington Examiner
