Teachers from a California middle school sued their school district and the state education board on Thursday over policies that they say require them to hide students’ intentions to change genders from their parents.

The federal lawsuit filed by attorneys from the Thomas More Society alleges that administrators at the Escondido Union School District and California State Board of Education violated the First Amendment with a policy that would compel teachers to aid in a student’s transgender “social transition.” The litigation was prompted by Escondido’s implementation of a series of new policies on the treatment of “transgender” or “gender diverse” students. METRO-NORTH INCIDENT RAISES QUESTION ABOUT DEFIBRILLATORS ON TRAINS

Welcome to The New Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Metro-North Incident Raises Question About Defibrillators on Trains--On Mar. 9 a Harlem line train departed Grand Central Station at 5:09 p.m., but this rush-hour commute was unlike nearly all other train rides back to Westchester and points north.

One of the passengers, a 43-year-old Hawthorne man, was suffering a cardiac arrest. According to one account, another passenger who identified himself as a doctor, administered CPR and yelled out for an automated external defibrillator (AED) to shock the man’s heart back into a normal rhythm.

But there was no defibrillator on the train. READ MORE AT Metro-North Incident Raises Question About Defibrillators (theexaminernews.com)

TOP TEN QUOTES FROM THE NY TIMES FAUCI INTERVIEW

Top Ten Quotes from the NYT Fauci Interview BY JEFFREY A. TUCKER APRIL 26, 2023

Billed as the most in-depth interview yet, the New York Times published a very long piece that contains some rather startling admissions, claims, and defenses from Anthony Fauci, the face of lockdowns and shot mandates.

The author and interviewer is David Wallace-Wells, who before (and now after) Covid specialized in writing about climate change, invokes every predictable trope. So there was a sense in which this interview was a lovefest between the two. Still it netted some interesting results.  READ MORE AT Top Ten Quotes from the NYT Fauci Interview ⋆ Brownstone Institute
