Now on view from August 7th to November 3rd the exhibition, Iconic Cortlandt, aims to capture the essence of Cortlandt from the unique perspective of the Town’s employees. Visitors to Town Hall will have the opportunity to gain an insider’s perspective on the people, places, and things that make the Town of Cortlandt a great place to live, play, work, and visit!

One of the truly special qualities of Cortlandt is the majestic splendor of the natural environment. LOHUD---NEW NY MARIJUANA DISPENSARY LICENSES HALTED BY JUDGE

Welcome to The New Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

New NY marijuana dispensary licenses halted by judge. Why it happened--David Robinson--New York State Team

A judge on Monday temporarily barred New York from issuing new cannabis dispensary licenses as part of a lawsuit claiming regulators unjustly favored people impacted by past marijuana prohibition enforcement.

State Supreme Court Justice Kevin Bryant’s ruling sided with a group of service-disabled veterans seeking dispensary licenses. Their lawsuit asserted in part that cannabis regulators violated the state Constitution by exclusively granting licenses to justice-involved business owners during the initial marijuana marketplace rollout. BERENSEN--WALL STREET IS FINALLY IN ON THE JOKE---SHARES IN MODERNA AND BIONTECH ARE CRATERING

Wall Street is finally in on the joke---Shares in Moderna and BioNTech are cratering as investors realize that demand for mRNA jabs for Covid and other respiratory illnesses will be near-zero going forward

ALEX BERENSON--AUG 7, 2023

It couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of medical billionaires.

Investors are voting on the failure of mRNA technology with their feet, fleeing the stocks of Moderna and BioNTech, the two companies that had the greatest wins on the mRNA Covid jabs.

In 2021 and 2022, Moderna and BioNTech rode Covid to tens of billions of dollars in profits. That gravy train is over.

Today, shares in Moderna and BioNTech fell below $100 a share for the first time since the jabs came to market in 2020, plunging almost 10 percent after BioNTech reported weak second-quarter sales and said it would reduce its planned research spending.

Both companies are down almost 80 percent from their 2021 peaks. Pfizer, which markets BioNTech’s mRNA jab and shares profits equally with BioNTech, has also fallen, though not as much, since Pfizer has non-mRNA products.

Behind the plunge: demand for Covid shots has fallen off a cliff worldwide and shows no signs of recovering.  MORE AT Wall Street is finally in on the joke - by Alex Berenson (substack.com)

EDUCATION ISSUES---CALIFORNIA....DIVERSITY....IMPLICIT BIAS, ETC. ETC. ETC.

A California school district is encouraging its staff to send students who deserve suspension or expulsion to training detailing diversity and “implicit bias,” according to documents obtained through a public records request by Parents Defending Education (PDE), a parental rights in education organization.  Training provided to “veteran staff” included forms that offered alternative punishments to suspending students, including courses on care and hate behavior.
