NSPCC WHISTLEBLOWER QUITS CHARITY OVER TRANS GROOMING

An NSPCC whistleblower has quit the charity after claiming it risked “grooming” children with aggressive trans ideology. Julia Marshall, who had volunteered with the organisation for more than 30 years, warned that it had been “completely captured” by the hardline Stonewall campaign group. OBIT & SERVICE INFO FOR JAMES J. McCAFFREY

James J. McCaffrey, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on April 19, 2024. He was 60 years old. James was born on July 25, 1963 in The Bronx, NY to the late James J McCaffrey, sr. and Arlene Cameron. James worked as a master electrician throughout his career. He was a proud member of local 3 and local 1-2. Graduate of St. Nicholas of Tolentine in the Bronx.

He is survived by his loving wife Stefanie and beloved son Brad. Brother of Kerry King (Peter), Susan Mitchell (Michael) and Denise Lyons (Chris). Loved by so many friends from the Bronx, Croton and his jobs.

He was predeceased by his loving parents James and Arlene McCaffrey.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 22nd from 4-8pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd at 10am at Holy Name of Mary Church, 114 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Interment will be Private.

More than 50 people stopped by our 1st Repair Cafe at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center! Many window screens, lamps, vacuums, projector, fans, clocks, pieces of jewelry and more items were fixed today! The aim of this event is to cut down on the amount of items going into landfill. Supervisor Dr. Richard Becker, Councilman James Creighton and Councilwoman Cristin Jacoby stopped by to see our volunteers skilled in everything from sewing to mechanical repair work helping community members free of charge.
