CON EDISON BILLS ARE SKYROCKETING AND THE GREEN POLICIES OF CUOMO AND HOLCHUL ARE TO BLAME

ConEd bills are skyrocketing, and the ‘green’ policies of Cuomo and Hochul are to blame By Daniel Turner

July 21, 2023 6:47pm--New Yorkers unhappy with Con Edison’s huge rate increases have two people to blame: disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo for the green agenda he implemented, and Kathy Hochul for doubling down on his failures.

Both are completely ignorant on energy, and their policies are dangerous to the state’s overall economy and the well-being of its citizens, especially those without cushion in their budget to sustain the higher price tags.

New York consumes a known amount of electricity each day.

Everything from a Park Avenue elevator to an air conditioner in Buffalo needs electricity, and that electricity must come from somewhere.

As with any fixed commodity, the greater the demand with a limited supply means higher prices.

Any teen who wanted to see Taylor Swift in concert understands this.

Cuomo did not. MORE AT ConEd bills are skyrocketing, and the 'green' policies of Cuomo and Hochul are to blame (nypost.com)

IN THE NEWS---MORE STATES PREPARED TO DITCH AMERICAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION

More States Prepare To Ditch American Library Association (Please note----questions about the Croton Free Library are best directed there)

The four legislatures that began preparing to terminate their state’s relationship with the ALA on Thursday joined lawmakers in Idaho, Wyoming, Georgia, and Mississippi.....The ALA has come under fire from conservative lawmakers after the association’s election of a far-left activist to lead the organization, which now defends sexually explicit material being presented to children. Emily Drabinski, the new president of the ALA, celebrated her election as a “Marxist lesbian who believes that collective power is possible to build and can be wielded for a better world.”

A total of nine states have now joined the movement, with Montana becoming the first state to make the separation official.  READ MORE AT
