New York State Police arrested 15 people during a protest calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict after they shut down parts of a major highway and a bridge. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on I-84 and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge around 8 a.m., Monday, April 15. BRUTE WHO SLUGGED LITTLE GIRL IN GRAND CENTRAL WAS FREE AFTER ANOTHER ATTACK DAYS EARLIER

Brute who slugged little girl in Grand Central was free after another attack days earlier:  Jean Carlos Zarzuela, 30, who was free without bail despite allegedly punching an elderly woman earlier this month, was hauled out of a Manhattan precinct in handcuffs Sunday to face a court arraignment in the latest shocking attack, according to MTA police.

Zarzuela is accused of approaching the little girl, a Bronx resident, around 11:50 a.m. inside the historic terminal and punching her without warning, cops said.

A DAMNING INDICTMENT OF GENDER AFFIRMATION

Over the past 15 years, the number of patients seen annually at NHS England’s gender youth clinic has increased from 50 to 5,000 young people. At the same time, childhood gender dysphoria, once a condition primarily affecting small boys, began appearing in a new population in unprecedented numbers: adolescent females with no prior history of gender distress.

The shift in patient population coincided with the British gender clinic’s embrace of the activist-driven “gender affirmation” model of treatment. The approach, which is pervasive throughout the United States, has three stages.

First, “social transition”: treating children as though they were really the sex with which they identify. For example, addressing a gender-distressed girl by male pronouns and encouraging her to use the men’s room. Second, hormones: a regimen of “puberty-blockers” most often followed by cross-sex hormones. WESTCHESTER SWAT TEAM STANDOFF ENDS SUNDAY NIGHT WITH MAN AT ELMSFORD HOTEL

Seth Harrison--Rockland/Westchester Journal News--A standoff apparently ended around 9:10 p.m. Sunday between the Westchester County Police SWAT team and a man who had barricaded himself in a room at the Days Inn hotel in Elmsford.

The man had been in a second-floor room in the rear of the two-story hotel on Valley Avenue, parallel to the Saw Mill River Parkway and just south of Route 119. The SWAT team had been visible in the next room with heavy armor.....As of 8:45 p.m., police were calling by loudspeaker to the man to answer his cellphone or come out with his hands up.
