EMAILS SHOW FAUCI KNEW FROM A 2020 FEDERALIST ARTICLE THAT MASKING WAS INEFFECTIVE BUT DEMANDED IT ANYWAY

Emails Show Fauci Knew From A 2020 Federalist Article That Masking Was Ineffective But Demanded It Anyway--Former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Anthony Fauci knew as early as October 2020 that masking was ineffective at preventing the transmission of Covid-19 after he read a Federalist article about it, emails obtained by the Functional Government Initiative (FGI) and shared with The Federalist reveal.

Despite showing awareness of a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) study — which showed a majority of Covid patients in the study became ill despite always wearing face coverings — and The Federalist’s reporting on it, Fauci published a paper weeks after the story that made no mention of masks’ shortcomings. July 25, 2023Martin Wilbur

Area representatives continue to press for more federal help to assist the hard-hit areas of the lower Hudson Valley that were devastated by a barrage of heavy rainstorms and in the past couple of weeks.

On Saturday, President Biden approved Gov. Kathy Hochul’s request for a Major Disaster Declaration to provide federal assistance to communities impacted by flooding from the recent storms.

On Sunday, Rep. Mike Lawler (R-Pearl River) and Assemblyman Matt Slater (R-Yorktown) sent a letter thanking President Biden for approving assistance to communities in Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess counties.

The two lawmakers also urged the President to approve individual homeowner assistance and add Westchester County to the disaster declaration.  READ MORE AT Disaster Declaration Approved for Putnam; Reps Waiting on Westchester | The Examiner News

MORE FROM ALEX BERENSEN---WHAT DID DR. ANTHONY FAUCI KNOW, AND WHEN DID HE KNOW IT?

Virologists like Kristian Andersen are justifiably under scrutiny for misleading the public in February 2020; but it was Tony Fauci who really had reason to panic over the lab leak theory.

ALEX BERENSON--JUL 20, 2023

“Wuhan University.”  That’s how Dr. Anthony Fauci referred to the Wuhan Institute of Virology on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, a day after the virologist Kristian Andersen warned Fauci he suspected Sars-Cov-2 might not be entirely natural. (Just spitballing here, Tony!)

Fauci made the error in an email to other federal officials he had no reason to expect anyone would ever see. In fact, the National Institutes of Health later hid it from a public records request.

Which implies Fauci’s mistake was honest. Which, in turn, implies that as of Feb. 1, 2020, he knew so little about the gain-of-function research happening in Wuhan, he couldn’t even get the location of the lab doing it right.

By the end of January 2020, Sars-Cov-2 had been the world’s focus for two weeks. The NIH was interested even earlier. On Mon., Jan. 13, after a frantic weekend of work, its vaccinologists and Moderna finalized the amino acid sequence for Moderna’s future Covid vaccine.

Yet Fauci apparently had no concerns about the origins of the virus until Andersen called him on Jan. 31. Then, suddenly, he seems to have woken up to the possibility that Sars-Cov-2 might have come out of a Chinese lab - and that his research dollars might have helped fund it.  MORE AT What did Dr. Anthony Fauci know, and when did he know it?
