MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE FINDS, WEBSITES, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Morning everyone...as always, some wonderful finds. Click on the photos and links. First up an oldie but goodie--a special request--and a repeat--and one of our faves from Howard Lamey--a repro/interpretation of a made in Japan original--the "Embassy" House; see it from start to finish, illuminated too, and a pattern is provided as well! Go to http://bit.ly/2mxaqrV.

It's followed by some examples from our growing obsession with cabinet cards/postcards featuring highly posed children, dolls, dogs and kitties. These are mainly pre-WWI and European.

Again click on the photos and links.

A FRIEND FINALLY CREATED  a medieval Christmas village under her antique feather tree. This whole thing got started when she inherited two vintage metal Knight in shining armor book ends(!) And so she was looking for cardboard castles....photos soon!

And so....Speaking of castles, and Fey and Lamey, click on the link to see a Flickr gallery of putz castles and "lakies" too; always worth a second (and third!) look--go to https://bit.ly/2Cp873f

And this cardboard castle kit from Calafont with LOADS OF POTENTIAL; more here

Village justice explains turnaround on armed officers in Croton-Harmon schools. District says it is not considering SROs at this time, but might do so in the future.
