The local eagles really do like the snow and the ice flows on the river---this one, possibly a female, seems to enjoy hanging out in this tree now and then.  I have gotten lucky quite a few times---using the telephoto---and my patience has been rewarded with some great shots.  Click on the photo.

IN THE NEWS--CLIMATE ACTIVISTS ARRESTED FOR DUMPING RED POWDER ON U.S. CONSTITUTION DISPLAY AT NATIONAL ARCHIVES

Two climate activists were arrested Wednesday after dumping red powder on the display encasing the Constitution at the National Archives in Washington.  The building was evacuated and closed to the public several hours early. Officials said the Constitution was not damaged, and the National Archives will reopen Thursday. The incident marked the latest demonstration in the nation’s capital featuring civil disobedience from environmentalists who want President Biden to declare a national climate emergency. We're enjoying old TV Guides that have been scanned and placed online. This one is from 1973--thank you PAXTON HOLLY--the "Fall Preview"---(oh how things have changed!).  There's Maude, The Rookies, Banyon, Mash, Kung Fu, The Brady Bunch, Room 222 and Bill Cosby (in those pre-scandal days)--just to name a few---there are some wonderful ads and television specials as well.
