NEW FROM PAPER GLITTER GLUE---MAKE AN ALPINE VILLAGE WREATH WORKSHOP

In 2014, I fell in love with the idea of making little houses when I saw the cover of the December issue of Martha Stewart Living

It was a gorgeous wreath with decorated with little Putz houses on clouds of cotton snowbanks. Just adorable. When I saw that wreath I decided that some day, I would make little houses.

OBERLIN COLLEGE---AGAIN---ROCKED BY A MAJOR ANTISEMITISM SCANDAL

The scenic Ohio-based Oberlin College has been rocked again by a major antisemitism scandal with the U.S. Department of Education Office of Civil Rights investigating the college for failing to stop harassment of Jewish students.

The new federal probe is just the latest setback for the liberal arts college, which has been reeling from a 2021 Fox News Digital report that its "Professor of Peace" Mohammad Jafar Mahallati called for the eradication of the Jewish state when he served as the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ambassador to the U.N. in the late 1980s.

According to a late September U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR) letter, "OCR will investigate whether the College failed to respond to the harassment of students based on national origin (shared Jewish ancestry)." By Matt Lamb --November 11, 2023 07:00 AM

A Christian music teacher, terminated for declining to use his gender-dysphoric students’ new names or pronouns, has a second chance for justice in his lawsuit against his former employer.

Indiana teacher John Kluge deserves to win, and Brownsburg Community School Corporation should lose.  MORE AT This teacher lost his job over forced recognition of transgenderism. He sued (washingtonexaminer.com)

CHRONICLE PROFILE CROTON'S BIRD COMMISSIONER, CARY ANDREWS

Chronicle profile: Croton's Bird Commissioner, Cary Andrews

Croton-on-Hudson is apparently the only community in the U.S. that has a Bird Commissioner. The job is in very good hands, say those who know Cary Andrews.

MICHAEL BALTER

“If birds are happy, people are happy,” says Cary Andrews.

It’s 8 am on a cloudy Tuesday morning, just after an overnight rain. Croton-on-Hudson’s Bird Commissioner is up on the grasslands of Croton Point Park, site of a notorious former landfill. The Hudson River flows off in the distance, and a light breeze blows through the grasses and shrubs that Westchester County began planting here after the landfill was decommissioned in the 1980s. THE DECLARATION THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN

The Declaration That Wasn’t Supposed to Happen JEFFREY A. TUCKER NOVEMBER 11, 2023

The problem with the Great Barrington Declaration was not that it was not true. It’s that – unbeknownst to its authors – it flew in the face of one of the most funded and elaborate industrial plots in the history of governance. Just a few sentences sneaking through the wall of censorship they were carefully constructing was enough to threaten and eventually dismantle the best laid plans.  READ MORE AT The Declaration That Wasn’t Supposed to Happen ⋆ Brownstone Institute

Letter to the Editor: George Pappas Thanks Supporters

To my fellow Cortlandt Residents and Supporters,

While the election outcome is not what many of us had hoped for, I wish our elected board nothing but success in governing for all of us moving forward. Elections are tough. You are never going to make everyone happy with the outcomes, but the important thing is we need to accept the results and find a way to work together for the greater good. We are one community. ALEX BERENSEN, YEP THEY'RE STILL TRYING TO MAKE FETCH HAPPEN

And by fetch, I mean this fall's mRNA Covid boosters. The elite media is STILL pretending there's unmet demand. Luckily, no one is listening - or taking the shots.

ALEX BERENSON
NOV 10, 2023

Can’t make it up.

Though The New York Times tried. On Monday, the Times ran a piece bemoaning the difficulty Americans supposedly face in getting new Covid boosters. The headline:

Some Covid Vaccines Are Still Hard to Find

This is a complete inversion of reality. Or, as the kids say, LOL.

The Centers for Disease Control no longer offers up-to-date statistics on Covid shots. But some state health departments still provide weekly data. They show that even in blue states that once embraced the mRNAs, demand for the jabs is near zero.

The flop comes despite public health and media exhortations and massive advertising campaigns from the jab companies. Health bureaucrats and Pfizer and Moderna hoped that positioning Covid jabs as once-a-year injections alongside flu shots would increase demand.

They were wrong.
Here’s the reality --- read more at Yep, they're still trying to make fetch happen (substack.com)
