5 MISTAKES DR. ANTHONY FAUCI MADE ON COVID THAT SPELLED DISASTER, NY POST

PHOTO CAPTION: The COVID-19 pandemic was prolonged and intensified by Dr. Anthony Fauci through a series of dramatic missteps including a focus on contact tracing, failing to target the at-risk elderly and closing schools.

5 MISTAKES DR. ANTHONY FAUCI MADE ON COVID THAT SPELLED DISASTER

The man almost single handedly responsible for the failed COVID policies of the past two-plus years has announced that he will be retiring soon. For many of us, that day cannot come soon enough.

During the first year of the pandemic, Anthony Fauci MD was a study in confusion. He expressed wildly conflicting opinions about how lethal and contagious the coronavirus was depending on who he was talking to.

In private he questioned whether it could be spread asymptomatically, whether wearing masks could help contain it, and whether it was possible to be re-infected.

In public he warned us that we were facing a viral apocalypse, touting a pandemic model from the Imperial College in London that predicted millions upon millions of US deaths. READ MORE HERE.

AND WHEN HE RETIRES, IF HE RETIRES: Dr. Fauci’s Retirement Pension ($414,667) Will Exceed President Joe Biden’s Salary ($400,000) It’s the largest federal retirement package in history. An unprecedented golden parachute made possible by career-end salary spiking. READ MORE HERE.

PLANS FOR UNDERWATER/UNDERGROUND HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSMISSION LINE UNVEILED, CLEAR PATH

Welcome to The New Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

You are encouraged to read the front page article in THE GAZETTE, WEEK OF 7/21 THROUGH 27, 2022.

As you know, we touched upon this project's possible Coton intrusion when rumors surfaced last year.

The Gazette now has a very thorough article on the CLEAN PATH NEW YORK 175-mile long transmission line bringing solar and wind power from Delaware County to Queens.   It will provide 1300 megawatts. For comparison's sake, each of the two former Indian point generatng units was rated at 1,000 megawatts.

PLANS FOR UNDERWATER/UNDERGROUND HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSMISSION LINE UNVEILED (CLICK on the map from the article.)

The exact route is unclear.  However, it appears it will traverse the unincorporated portion of the Town of Cortlandt, Lent's Cove, as well as the villages of Buchanan and Croton.

There will be a public information meeting in Ossining on 7/26 (part of the line will impact Ossining and Peekskill).  Again, please read the detailed article for more info. The Gazette does not have an online presence. However, it is on sale just about everywhere.

Regarding requests for the Bronx paper on the Clear Path Project, "AN UNJUST TRANSITION", there's this one Analysis-of-Environmental-Impact-of-Proposed-HVDC-Converter-Station-Final-1.pdf (bxius.org)

As always, please do your own research.

A heads up from village residents who attend the St. Christopher Church in Buchanan.

Please click on the image posted from their FB page.

On Friday July 8th this person entered St. Christopher’s church and proceeded to steal the Poor Box and it’s contents. He also checked doors and drawers to see if there was anything else he could take. If you recognize this person or have any information regarding this theft please call the Buchanan Police. Thank you for your help.

IN THE JOURNAL NEWS: NY'S FOSSIL FUEL USE SOARED AFTER INDIAN POINT PLANT CLOSURE; OFFICIALS SOUND THE ALARM

Welcome to The New Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

NY's fossil fuel use soared after Indian Point plant closure. Officials sound the alarm--The 2021 shutdown of the Indian Point nuclear power plant led to near-total dependence on fossil fuels to produce electricity in New York's energy-hungry downstate region, and surging amounts of heat-trapping carbon dioxide in the air.A report issued last month by the New York Independent System Operator, which runs the state’s electric grid, shows that in 2021, 89% of downstate energy came from natural gas and oil, up from 77% the previous year when both of Indian Point’s two reactors were still running.  READ MORE FROM THE JOURNAL NEWS AT
