NATIONAL DESSERT DAY! ALL THINGS COOKERY, KITCHEN & TABLE #69

Welcome to The New Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

It's National Dessert Day! And soooo,,,,,

Some oof our favorite desserts for this edition of ALL--THINGS COOKERY, KITCHEN & TABLE #69--As always, click on the photos and links.....LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!

FIRST UP---FROM THE FACEBOOK PAGE---RECIPES FROM MY KITCHEN--AND THE LAND DOWN UNDER....Blueberry Croissant Strata....so easy! FIND THE RECIPE ON MELANIE'S FB PAGE HERE.

Next up, from VALYA'S TASTE OF HOME----No Bake Honey Graham Cracker Cake. This is just so easy, so good, and always a big hit. Find the recipe and how to HERE.

P.S. This recipe is fabulous as is....but.....Add a few drops of McCormick's Extracts to the cream mixture and wow! Your editor has experimented with these flavors---COCONUT, RUM, ALMOND and BANANA--thus far. P.S. If you've never used flavor extracts before, (or food coloring), McCormick's provides this handy guide at: https://www.mccormick.com/food-coloring-guide

Have you ever embellished your creations---be they simple or complex--with sugared pansies? (An elegant touch on Strawberry Jello in a parfait glass...)  What a hit, easy, and tasty too....but requires a overnight in the refrigerator.

SOUTHERN LIVING HAS A YOUTUBE VIDEO ALL ABOUT IT HERE.

AND FINALLY, SOME DESSERT RECIPES USING FOUR INGREDIENTS OR LESS! https://www.brit.co/four-ingredient-dessert-recipes/

P.S. IINDIANA PERSIMMON COOKIES FROM

  1. Thank you for starting this cooking series back in the days. So nice to have a place that tolerates none of the nonsense.
