Andrew James Vassallo of Saratoga Springs,NY died on December 26, 2022. He was 68 years old. Andrew was born on June 14, 1954 in Peekskill, NY to Salvatore and Violet (Schiavo) Vassallo. He grew up in Croton and graduated from the Croton Harmon High School in 1972. Andrew was a self-employed contractor. He also worked as a Carpenter for Local #291 in Albany,NY and the Hendrick Hudson School District. Andrew was associate member of the Montrose Fire Department. He is survived by his son James, brother, Steven (Nancy), sisters, Mary Ellen (Mike) Healey and Patte (Jay) Mills, several cousins and many friends. Reposing Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the O’Mara & Carpentieri Funeral Home. A private cremation will follow.
