UNVACCINATED NYJUDGE SUES STATE COURT SYSTEM, CITING ARBITRARY VAX MANDATE

Uvaccinated NY judge sues state court system, citing 'arbitrary' COVID-19 mandate--Jennifer L. Donlon can't serve on bench in person after requests for vaccine exemption denied==Neal Simon
The Evening Tribune

When practicing law, Hornell attorney Jennifer L. Donlon is front and center in New York state courtrooms, conferring face-to-face with clients, meeting in close quarters with other lawyers and interacting with judicial staff.

However, when Donlon is serving in her role as an assistant judge for Hornell City Court, she's an image on a video monitor and a voice on a speakerphone.

Donlon is not vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus.

According to a lawsuit she brought against the state Unified Court System and the state Office of Court Administration, "This paradox is the consequence of a (state COVID-19) vaccine policy that — as applied — is purely arbitrary and capricious."
