Westchester asks state Supreme Court to toss out lawsuit so it can remove Legislature chairwoman

Apr 27, 2023, 8:18pmUpdated 7h ago--By: News 12 StaffLawyers for Westchester asked a state Supreme Court judge to toss out Legislature Chairwoman Catherine Borgia's lawsuit so it can proceed with a vote to remove her from her leadership position.  County Attorney John Nonna filed the response Thursday and argued the charter that governs the Board of Legislators allows the board to vote to remove a chair.
