Amleto Giarolo, age 88, of Croton-on-Hudson, New York passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
A visitation for Mel will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Holy Name of Mary Church, 114 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, New York 10520. A mass of christian burial will occur Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 114 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, New York 10520. A private cremation following mass will occur. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mel's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.efcarterfuneralhome.com for the Giarolo family.

I would like to tip my cap to the CHHS Baseball Coach Eric Rosen for honoring this man back In 2016 on the 35 anniversary of the NY State Championship. Former players traveled back home from different parts of the country, News 12 was there, the baseball field behind the high School was decorated to the max. Well deserved for a well respected coach/ person. RIP Mel 🙏
