Special Counsel John Durham found the FBI used “uncorroborated intelligence” when it launched its investigation into Trump ahead of the 2016 election. The report also found agents failed to maintain “strict fidelity to the law” throughout its investigation.
The FBI responded shortly after its release, acknowledging the errors made in 2016, which concedes the findings of the Durham report are accurate.
“The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time. The report also found that Obama and Biden were aware of Clinton's Russian collusion hoax when CIA director (and craven liar) John Brennan briefed them about it, and that they knew it was fictional in August 2016. It also said that the FBI agents who got the info originally knew it was BS, but FBI leadership forced them to open an active investigation. Election interference at its finest.
