Well from the 1912 SURVEY Magazine, there's also this---click on the images below--AND WITH REFERENCE TO MABEL HAY BARROWS MUSSEY---mentioned in the article--Mabel Hay Barrows was an actress and director of the stage, known for her production of the Greek drama Ajax at the University of California, Berkley.  She was also a journalist who contributed to the Nation and The Jabberwock, as an editor. Barrows died abroad in Germany, in 1931, from intestinal ulcers.  She married Henry Raymond Mussey.
