I’ve written a lot this year about the systemic failings at CareMount/Optum, and the implications for local patients.

In fact, this week, I’ve gathered new reporting that suggests a possible escalation of the state Attorney General’s Office’s scrutiny of the corporate healthcare operator, with legal staff deriding the group’s “HOT MESS billing” in internal correspondence.
