Croton-Harmon: decrease of $63,045 which is a cut of 1.22 percent and Hendrick Hudson: increase of $2,316,624 which is an increase of 25.46 percent!
The statewide total increase is 2.1 percent, so what is happening is that the money is being shifted— not cut.
We knew that Albany would reward a middle class community that has forgone school tax revenue to provide subsidized housing in a village school district where 1 out of 5 students are on the school lunch program. A Shout out to our village board of trustees, and mayor, keep up the great work, what we need next is high-rise housing in a flood zone.
