VISITATION 2/18 FOR DAVID H. SULLIVAN

David H. Sullivan, age 69 of Croton on Hudson, NY passed in restful peace on January 24, 2024. Dave was born on September 25, 1954 in Riverdale, NY to Michael and Miriam (Davis) Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife Debra (McGowan) whom he married on December 3, 1977, his two sons Dennis and Kevin (Melissa) whom he adored and his brother Michael (Judith). He was predeceased by his three brothers Charles (Jean), Lee (Carol), and John L.

Dave attended DeWitt Clinton High School before earning a B.S. in Accounting at Herbert H. Lehman College. He began his career with the New York State Tax Department, eventually becoming a Principal at Margold, Ersken & Wang, CPA’s and Citrin Cooperman & Company before retiring in 2017.

Dave served as Chairman of the Board of Family Focus for 25 years, a program that provided parents of children with multiple disabilities assistance with various respite opportunities.  He was also on the Board of Andrus, which focuses on supporting children and families with emotional, educational and various other challenges. In addition, he was a member of the Auction Committee for The Center for Discovery’s Annual Gala.

He served as Committee Chair of Boy Scout Troop 28 in Croton. Dave valued his time as a member of the Croton Little League Board, mainly representing the Challenger Division that was created for children with intellectual and physical disabilities.  MORE AT David H.
