DeleteAlways thought that the upper lot and former Gallimaufry building (I believe they’ve be trying to sell this space) would have been the proper choice for the new DPW office and equipment facilities. More suitable than some far-off office building outside of village lines on Rt. 129 and it could have provided us the ability to be rid the Municipal Place gateway area eyesore on the property of the old sewer treatment plant across from Croton Auto Park.. But I guess Housing at Harmon Yards is a much better idea. Those residents are going to love Metro-North shift changes and commuters, just for starters.
