Use of Gas-Powered Leaf Blowers Permitted Due to Storm

Due to the severe thunderstorms which affected Croton-on-Hudson yesterday, Village Manager Bryan Healy has authorized the use of gas-powered leaf blowers for storm cleanup beginning today, July 18, through Saturday, July 20, in accordance with Chapter 160-4(I) of the Village Code.

Thanks. Nice they waived the rule but honestly, no one on my block pays attention to it. Good enough for the village and the schools and the golf course, good enough for me.

DeleteCan you imagine trying to clean up this mess with an electric? I don't even own one and with all the battery fires, I'm glad I don't.
