The New York State Thruway Authority on Thursday sued the consortium that built the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, claiming pipes used to connect the bridge’s distinctive cables to the main structure are not up to standards. So you mean to tell me that during construction the inspectors were unable to determine the builder was using inferior parts? Something smells here.
ReplyDeleteGovernment incompetence, and probably some payoffs, too. Same thing happened with the new Kosciuszko Bridge, which is designed the same way.
