    Truly a sad story. My aunt lives in one of storied apartments above the Park and hasn't set foot in it for years. Pretty to look at from the window but little else. You'd have to be crazy to go into the park these days. The city is out of control.

      If you really want a heart-racer, try walking Coumbus Circle. My eye doctor is there and it's like passing through a gauntlet.

    I am down in this area once a month to visit a relative who rarely leaves the house anymore. It's a nightmare. No matter how you feel about this issue, the fact is it's not safe, period, and many of these folks, not all, are simply up to no good. There ARE good people in life. But seldom congregating on street corners. It can't go on like this.
