LONG ISLAND TRAFFIC ALERT, LOOP PARKWAY

Transportation officials have announced that a parkway on Long Island will be closed and a new traffic pattern lasting eight months will start.  Starting on Monday, Sept. 18, and lasting until Friday, Sept. 22, both directions of the Loop Parkway will be closed in Hempstead, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  Closures, New Traffic Pattern Announced For Parkway On Long Island (msn.com)
