You know what ticks me off, These problems were talked about and ignored well before the purchase was made. I remember a resident who cited chapter and verse about the issues with these buses.
ReplyDeleteYou have expressed problems with ev busses (all known (see Chicago problems)and not new) yet Croton still wants to buy more EV busses? Good money after bad? Wappingers schools have 250 busses. To charge that many Central Hudson gas and electric said a power substation would need to be built at a cost of approximately $30,000,000. Does this make sense? There are about 45,000 school busses in New York State. Hochul mandates all EV busses. Is this even remotely possible? Just the busses alone would be $14billion. Then add untold billions in electric charging stations and required updates to electric supply (additional high tension lines and substations). And... Oh yeah installing diesel heaters ? Liberalism is a mental disorder
