A public hearing on a proposed law to allow leashed dogs at Gouveia Park raised some issues, but the trustees seem favorable. A recommended port-a-potty for people has not yet materialized, however.

The Chronicle got the status of the law wrong, and we admit it. In our defense, it’s the first correction we have had to do in six months of publication.

Boy these people are desperate to come up with something for that White Elephant. I might ever drive to Gouveia (oops, carbon footprint) with my pup.
ReplyDeleteI think we all know that Gouveia is a total failure and a has been a huge waste of taxpayer money. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig. At what point, do we walk away and stop shoveling money into this pit?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter what they do. No one is opening a restaurant there. No one is opening an arts center. No one is having their wedding there (another scheme). And NO ONE I KNOW will ever take their dog there.
