OBITUARY AND SERVICE INFO FOR VICTORIA SASSO

Victoria Sasso, a lifelong resident of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2024. She was 89 years old. Victoria was born on January 21, 1935 in Croton-on-Hudson to the late Louis Giglio, Sr. and Augusta Greenberg.

Vicky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and a wonderful friend to many. Through the years she held various jobs - Hudson Wire, Richard Albert Real Estate and her favorite was Pop Bergers where she loved to interact with the middle school and high school students. Vicky enjoyed socializing and spending quality time with her friends and family whether it was shopping, playing cards, board games or listening to her favorite music.

Vicky is survived by her daughters Deborah LaRosa (Benjamin) and Catherine Sasso (Butch Simonetti), and her sister Madeline Myers and many nieces and nephews.

Vicky was predeceased by her loving husband August “Chico” Sasso in 2007 after sharing 53 years together, as well as her brothers Louis Giglio Jr., John Giglio, Thomas Giglio and Vincent Giglio.

A visitation for Victoria will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St, Croton-On-Hudson, New York 10520. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 41 Grand St, Croton-On-Hudson, New York 10520.
