By Joe Marino and Emily Crane--Published June 3, 2024, 8:34 a.m. --The two NYPD cops shot allegedly by a 19-year-old Venezuelan migrant were given a guard of honor as they were released from a Queens hospital Monday morning. The officers, Christopher Abreu, 26, and his partner Richard Yarusso, also 26, were greeted by rounds of applause as they emerged from Elmhurst General Hospital — just hours after the violent ordeal.
