SUPERMAN DAY!!!!!!

We forgot....but better late than never. Yesterday was Superman Day.  Started in 2013 by DC Entertainment, two days before the release of the Superman film, Man of Steel. The character has been played by many actors since George Reeves died on June 16, 1959---but for many of us who grew up in the 50's--or watched re-runs of the television show in the 60's and 70's--George Reeves will always be synonymous with the role. Click here to read more.

And click on the photos below courtesy of assorted collectors and the former SeriousToyz to see an outstanding collection of Superman items from the 1940's through the 1980's, all rights reserved.
